Rhyme-a-Day: Irrupts

Stay poised ready, waiting in the cut.

Rush the front of the stage when the beat irrupts,

Through the double fifth teens, breaking the silence,

Broke the barrier, the crowd's in a riot.

irrupt \ih-RUHPT\, intransitive verb

1. To burst in forcibly or suddenly; to intrude.

2. (Ecology) To increase rapidly in number.
