They say tears are prayers too heavy for our lips to speak.
The silence creeps through window
Watery blur is the moon, Push and pulling oceans in my eyes.
Walks on sand are quest for foot prints. I need to be carried.
Pulled from the Brink,
THANK GOD for this ink to sink
Emotions DEEP into the page
I must say I Apologize,
Its my obligation to promise perfect moments, By ANY Means neccessary
Buried, under scopes of smiles and laughter, are these tears
These sorrys will be the Last
Sorry for being a sorry Excuse for a hero,
you play the villain so smooth, How did I let get so close.
I'm sorry for crying now and Lying then,
MAKE BELIEVE play PRETEND, WE could begin again But ends, preceed new beginnings.

Striking a nerve, swerve through these words
Deliver the urge, to purge what hurts
Here on the dance floor, Its what you came for,
not the hard core but the mo better
Better wrap it in a jacket, if you get lucky
Don't judge me for what I might do tonight
feeling so good on a Busta Rhymes hype
Types? She might be it, lets mix the tonic and see what we get
Another chance to do love better
or just another cold morning
searching for your sweater
Put your clothes on,
because the show is over
stop the action games, you're getting older
not the a looker, like you once were
Now your just the vision caught in the blur

A Grin, A Smile, A Laugh

The Calabash, gave the blast to creative explosion
Expressions became weapons of mass protection
Guarding bonds of friends solidified by

A grin

A smile

A laugh

Tony had a great one of each with a heart to match
welcomed us artist into his Calabash

A Soul’s departure always arrives too early
to those still waiting for flight
Wish they could fight for a window seat
just for one more conversation

Great people soar with you
to a destination we should all see
When my time comes for departure
I’ll be at peace knowing

A grin

A smile

A laugh

Of a friend will be waiting in heaven

Thankful for the prayers, I do not hear
Silent whispers of truth in the wind
Sins upon my brow lay heavy
My mind weighed down and stressed like the levies

Gentle breeze through tunnels
funnel troubles down the drain
Pain, a figment of my imagination
Pigments in the pictures' painting
Filament the keeps my light blazing
A candle in the dark, for those who are lost
it's a sign of home.

Come now
Rest now
Family provides the best pillows
fluffed with love and stuffed with high hopes.
We come short of saints and popes
but come we must

to be embraced by trust and faith.
Two arms never felt so safe.
But they let go sometimes
to let the risk we take
ours to contemplate.

We see farther upon higher ground
by those who climbed out of death valleys
to mountain tops and cemented the foundation.
Now we star gaze
with nothing in our way
except
the wind.

In my death, there is the voice of the righteous,
Defiance to all injustice that feeds on silence,
The riots and protest to bring the best of humanity,
To the surface. March forward on the grounds I lay under.
In my Death, I'll hold you up and watch over you.
My Death, may it serve as cries of battle,
Combat snakes that rattle our faith.
Fearful trimmers from when foundations break, and
For sakes of little fates resting under our wings of protection
Teach them to fly,
To sing,
To conduct symphonies as their wings, glide through the air.
We are beings deliberately created to be deliberately creative.
Its our native Purpose.
Our passionate nature will save what is threaten
Protect what is destined. Our Victory? There is no question.
My death, let it be the lesson
A life honorably discharged from is a life worth living.

Between black and white aren't shades of gray,
But the colors of the rainbow
As I flow down slides and chutes, I listen to melodies of flutes
Guiding me home to the place of origin
Swollen members by pounding pavement
To make rent payments and keep lights luminated
Many hated during hating season, ringing bells against liberty for treason of the cause
Watered down by clause in laws
Design by shock and awe minds
Nothing mysterious leave us delirious,
Looking for help that's serious
I'm tired of too many games being played
People posing more than a game of charades

The Gift

(To listen to audio, go to the online store, in the bizmo, click the "+" next to poetics and select the poem by title.)
Children, you are not the future!
You are not the hope, nor the promise of a better tomorrow
You are not the byproduct of dreams dead, deferred, or denied  reincarnated as children
You have been told a lie “you are the future”
As tempting as it is, you are not temptation
You are satisfaction in constant action
paddling the canals of a now growing universe.
You are not the future because there is no future
What’s beyond the universe, but more stars? What’s beyond today, but more todays?
The future becomes a trap for knaves
The fools bare their dreams to this stage
souls screaming with passion and rage
While stomping bar after bar after bar building their Guantanamo their cage
Now, forever imprisoned until they in a grave, Alive!
Buried by a dream’s wooden paddle turned shovel.
The cruelty of a dream is only realized when it’s denied by its mother, the source of its birth.
A dream speaks,
“Why can’t I be loved now and held now? Why must I be held a day away?
I can’t live in your tomorrow’s! I paddle through the white waters of the Milky Way
galaxy to be in your arms, only to be arm’s length from your reality!?
If I must live in your tomorrows, you will surely suffer today!”

This is a warning. Harsh words from an idea born of love and purpose.
A dream not properly cared for will make you nervous.
You become a rubber band ball of stress, bouncing stress balls of the walls at your desk,
wishing there would be something better to your existence than this.
A dream knocks on your now, holds up 2 signs in Big Black Bold Letters,
1st reads
“GOT BETTER?”
2nd reads
“Here it is!”
Your response
“That would be nice. I can’t wait ‘til that happens.” But you do.
Wait for the right moment
Wait for the right time to ask
Wait for the cash
Wait for the perfect circumstance
which is only a day away and is always a day away.
Children, you want you to see your dreams today?
Don’t be tomorrows!
We sing of our love for tomorrow and its future promise but the future promises
always to be beyond the horizon
Just out of your grasp,
just beyond the point where actions are taken.
While those who have forsaken their dreams smile by the hopes of you
you can’t be their hope for a better tomorrow or you will suffer their same fate.
Jailed by the state of wait penitentiary
Where many were told dreams come true and now feel they were lied to.
They were.
Not about dreams becoming reality but about when and the way they do.
Patience is a virtue and procrastination is an excuse.
You must be you now
and strap dreams blood stone tight to your back
start where you are at
and
Walk Now, Hike Now,
Climb Now, Fight Now,
Help Now, Ask Now,
Work Now, Play Now,
Enjoy Now, Love Now,
 Hate Never, Fear Not,
Become Now, Because Now
is all we got. All we had, and all that will be given.
The Universe is now and Now always grows in trinity,
Nows that past, Nows that are here, and Nows to come.
Children, don’t be the future, ‘cause you are not the future.
Be the gift you were born to be, Now!

Forever

Download the mp3, here

Forever, I have tried to find it, define it, visualize it.
I imagined forever as a ball rolling down an endless hill and one day
I'll run forward fast enough to catch it and hold it
Show it to all my family and friends and say
Loved ones meet my forever
Forever my loved ones
Then we sit, watch sunsets, sunrises, all glossy eyed, till we died
We tried, Forever kept looking back
I tried to hold it in front of me but
Forever should not be bound by my hands nor time's
Nor counted on fingers tips, as your touch lingers on my skin
Like this flower stamp on my right wrist, from a night of dancing
Forever has a nice beat, that plays in my mind long after your voice fades
Silent thoughts whisper "I Love her" But I double dog dare not utter a word
as lips slightly prepared to inhale her air
Enchanted gazes, slow stroke through hair
Takes me places where light reveals new color
Un-witnessed in my existence
3-6-0 are the digit of degrees in which I see bliss rising inside of me
This moment has no end so forever could not begin but I feel eternity
With in a 4 second inhale of air
swells of heat waves crashed into my body
Sending me back into west African Seas, my hair locked with ease
No Bees wax needed, percussive root rhythms heeded, looked over my shoulder
And she was there
With the strength to care for nations, though chained
On her way to the plantation, not knowing what she would be facing
With the rock of the boat, shifted her place turned her face
And I was there
With the burning glares from stares of southern s(u/o)ns on my back
Where sonic boom explosions left marks like tracks cause I was born to run
All through the night, avoiding sight of southern s(u/o)ns
a voice sung, and beyond the horizon
She was there
Marching her heart out, singing over
dog barks, gun and crowd shouts
Hottest summer with drought and they still emptied fire hoses
Water burns, adding fuel to the fire, increasing desires for change
Dogs released from chains, headed her direction, towards her mid section
Shoved out of the way, fell to her behind, looks up and finds
I am there
Taking a bite…. of ice cream, wanting to enjoy her company
Thinking she looks lovely somewhat familiar, Excuse me miss, what's your name? i think I know you.
Not a line this time as Obama takes his time share of history
It was still a mystery how she was there
In my now, in my then, in my what will be
All in the same moment, flash flooding me with the bliss
Of all eras of our existence, A split second
Before lips pierced the stream of air exhaled from sighs of...
Wow!
How should I define forever now?

She Will Not Fall (lyrics)

Download the mp3, here

At the age of 2, sex abuse by lord knows who

Been given nightmares, being haunted by the clues

A face black by shadows was the one to misuse

Her lost of innocence she did not choose

Growing up she was afraid to touch

And would touch too much

Making candid dudes blush

Her secret was hush

All though she was a slut,

But never would bump and grind

But the fellas told them lines.

This little miss was freak in the sack

She let me hit from the back

They carry on with this and that

The truth is, she's just a cat with a lion's roar

She'd flirt hardcore but couldn't handle anymore

She loved the glamour, being the center of attention

Thought fund what's missing by false sexual intentions

Bringing dudes to submission

But the goodies she wasn't given

Angering the fellas by her misrepresentin'

But after a couple shots delinquents like to plot

They met up at the spot, a party with the jocks

She over by the DJ, shaken what she's got

It start to get think, the crowd was intense

She had a plastic cup with red punch in it

Sat it down for a minute, then took another sip

With her hand on her hip, she did a little dip

Her feet start to slip, and then receives a helping hand

From a young man, who had the ill plan

Takes her to the van, lays her in the back

She couldn't fightback, the strength she lacked

Her voice was intact, but low in amplitude

She couldn't believe, nightmares come true

A face black shadows, was the one to misuse

Her lost innocence, she did not choose.

ated, life force depleted

Meade like dough and best believe she was heated

Ready to rise with fire in her eyes

Take down the man violates the space between her thighs

Why oh why she ask, a good girl went to class

Good grades about to pass, on to the collegiate

But she feels incident, from events that were recent

Wish dude was lock up in the precinct

Can't bring her self to say what went down that day

Just wants it to fade away, like the moon with its rays

Meeting the blaze of the sun,

from the pain she couldn't run

Tried to hide behind the smile

But the overcast would come,

With a thunderous drum, lightning strikes her hopes

Knocked up against the ropes, against all odds

There's a fighter within, battlin' the suicide whisperings

False premonitions, evil renditions of the truth

Olde to Saul

Download the mp3, here

Not Until you listen to Saul Williams without the college herd have you heard spoken word. Extract the mere confusion created by it and let the Che-poster-free-walls, the weed-smoke-free-halls, the underage alcohol withdrawal, the lack of cat calls for booty calls, the missing naïve notions, the absence of senseless unwavering devotions, and the stress relief of the summer's here finals over breeze illustrate it.

Let it remind the mind how to sing cool calming collected melodies with ease of a tree's growth. Under the shade of its arm we feed each. I hear no other voice but my own. Full grown as I have always heard it. No longer ashamed when my air waves flow back to me. I hear the truths I've spoken. I have rebuilt what was broken.

The trinity connects the dots that reveal the picture universe. It's dark now. I'm tracing the stars again, feeling my ascension. I'm floating above gloating. Glowing, guiding those who find the darkness and want to lose it. I say use it, choose it, like it, love it, because its where God hid.

Truth, power, respect, BALANCE, peace, low resistance to high aims, prophecies, philosophies, clarity thru disparity, freedom to be happy. Thus making life a game of, seriously played, purposed to be enjoyed, hide and seek.

From Peek-a-boo to pikachu, I think of my son as it rises to my east. Did not sleep. I watched the picture spin thankful once again for another twirl. My world is a merry-go-round like Kool Herc's merry-go-round-sound, looping vibes as eyes keep prize in line with sight. I move forward continuing the dance, writing the chants, for a chance, to create a better tomorrow. (break for haiku)

Can't borrow dollars
placed in pockets or escrow
to purchase a smile

Back to the dial, tune my own station, Nikki Giovanni on demand, Ego Trip is the shit, go cop blackalicous, cause gift is sick, prolific, articulate, when he dispenses, alliteration from A to G.

Potent Poetry

Download the mp3, here

POTENT POETRY

Silver cap, Black ink, Gel mark, That Fire Breather, Mixed with ether, get cha lifted, like service elevators. I'm scourged in paper, rolled like Cuban cigars.
I am, Poet Concentrate to make poetic pimp juice. Ask Ro She know, that 1 toke, will stroke, your mind right, take you to higher heights, than the moon's view.
I am 100 proof.
I Bathe in think, I'm baptized in holy pools of ink, and reborn a pen.
I splurge in words, submerge in linguistics, take a sip, you're verbally twisted, mentally shifted to Capts. Penmanship coast through brainstorms to brave the allegories snapping.
I'm a hunter of Puns, Defender of definitions, Master of analytical illusions. the blurrer of confusion. I'm potent poetry.
Cats bust gats, I pop caps back, push your wig back, (double click) steady ink fire.
The good book glows, the embers deliver burns to the third degree, branded like fraternity arms.
I'm the Overdose from prose composed, in the wrist flick throws of passion.
I'm the sweet relief with no grief for a fools death.
Intellect infected when injected, consciousness protected when digested,
I'm the high of my own supply. I was brewed from genuine editions of phonic renditions.
Thrown in the hip hop crock pot, slow stirred with a drop of salt of the earth, wind, and fire.
Added free-thought poppy seeds, prophecy weed, and other secret contrabands from the divine fruit of the land.
I am the heart filled with adrenaline pumping black, blue, gray blood through your veins. Cause sometimes I'm via the pencil but never a stencil.
I am the essence.
The original origami of words, thoughts, and ideas folded like no other. Creases cleaner than west coast khakis.
On the block. On the corner. In the hand of your pusher man. Find me at the spot where you get that fire breather, That knowledge teacher, That wisdom breeder, That heavy hitter lyric spitter, That levy breaking, penetrating, elevating flow.
I float hope, on sine waves of bass, that free bass heads and treble heads alike. They free right and let their thoughts lock to rewrite the plot to the ghetto times best seller "destined to be destroyed." New title "OverJoyed" Stevie won't mind.
Besides I am the ribbon, I am Visions, I told him about lies and what colors they turn. I burn midnights, as inspired suns.
I am the heaviest of heavy, I am the deep that resurfaces on the other side of the globe.
I ignite cores and cover worlds in sea of flames. The games reduce to ashes, all that remains is smoldering desires of love drunk pens, ready to screw your undisputed virgin truths.
With all that I am, being far more than what you comprehend, when you hear the call, (Silver Cap) be forewarned, (Black Ink) This is potent poetry (Gel Mark) and the first sample is always free.

Checker's Pawns

Download the mp3, here

Checker’s Pawns

Could rule the world if the block didn’t box me.

Ali my hopes. Jump for hoops, over ropes. Play the dope

It how we smart kids cope. Because no one wants to be the blunt end of jokes

So we Clinton our tokes. Act as Nasa Satellites, high than a mother fucker

Which means not a god damn thing, just seems to get me the attention of these

Samuel L Jackson fiends, who loving every fucking thing that much more

If it has more curses than a charmed witches convention.

I say fuck, though I’m a virgin. Shit when I got to piss.

Assholes when they act like tits, and motherfuckers when fathers don’t exist.

It don’t make since and since this block is a checkerboard we kings get jumped

These pawns don’t know what they could become.

They double up to rule and make power play moves to control a broken board walk

Rented to their care.

No room for independence you’re either here or overthere

And here is where ego clash and strike hammer’s to the back of caps. Bullets and knees.

Still duck when guns drum in triplet rhythms

Hold my head with the hands of mother who smother their child with love after being slaughtered.

Hold on baby! It’s ok baby! Lord! Please, don’t take my baby!

Crazy? This is demented.

To play into a life that will end with a sentence. Death or Prison

This world is a stage and I’m just trying to make it to the second act.

With moral character intact, but this play stays in intermission.

Screening calls avoiding the curtains.

I’m certain it has my number because I continue to play myself.

As lowdown, dumb down, un-profound, don’t know how to use verbs, adjectives, and pronouns

Cause I be chillin’ on the block. Flash a glock like a badge for respect.

Since these motherfuckers don’t respect intellect.

My thought? On my set. Check my brains at the door.

Better to lose my mine than have it spattered on the floor.

These actions I abhor, options? I keep asking, begging praying for more, but I only got one.

They say there is no future in frontin’ well my future relies on it.

So I stay high, like my grades. A-C-T hard on the boulevard.

Irregardless of regard for brauds, I brag about their good heads for college.

If I bluff well enough, I just may survive. Speed out of this neighborhood and fly

On a ship, that’s fully equip by my gifts of my conscious on stealth.

It flys higher than butterfly doors on a phantom

Menaces creed? Ride or Die. It their anthem.

So I sing along as pawn to get among a dawn upon a coast and toast

This day, as captain of my ship, king of my domain, but until then

Back to this block. Back to this game.

Piece

Download the mp3, here

A gift to you on my Birthday. Enjoy!

PIECE!

This piece is a piece of my soul

Which poured into my thoughts and then became this voice

I choose to perform short hand to capture that movement quickly

This piece is about peace because when I began to scribe

Imhotep ran and hide

Inside my soul forest fires became chestnut roasting

On an open fire

Thunderstorms became cleansing spring rain

I maintained balance

This piece is a piece of history and it won't repeat itself

I'll repeat it to strengthen my conviction to this craft

Perfecting the artistry of this ballet between paper and pen

This piece broke the mold of deception

Now I can be freely and see the trickery with ease

These words gave my pen purpose

As the ink permanently marks the pages

I wanted to replace the ink cartridge with my veins

So blood would become the ink and this piece would be given life

It would only be fair

Before this piece

I was unborn torn between life and death

Hiding in the womb of stealth and insecurity

Before this piece

My voice was speechless

My vision breached by past teachings

I was believing anything and falling

I kept falling in love with self pity

It would only be fair because this piece has paid the price for my mistakes

The greatest sacrifice this piece can make

Is taking my burdens, taking my cares

Taking my worries and then giving me poetry

This piece is selfless in maintaining my passion for the quest

This piece is the west because I rest when it draws nears

This piece is the east because I look to it for one more day, one more chance

This peace is the reason I breathe

The reason I take the next step

The reason quiet is kept during meditation

The reason I manifest joy

This piece is what I'll teach my little boy

Unconditional love

This piece has made the greatest sacrifice

Taking my concerns

What yearns and churns in my gut on late nights and

Giving me poetry

I Love My People

I Love My People

Despite our ailments, predicaments,

life sentences, lost of innocence.

Despite body limps, triggers pinch, bullets miss, dead at six.

Despite our intolerable pain, crack Novocain,

ex the same, and the gang games.

We all need a little love and happiness.

Despite the doing wrong, same songs,

playing all night long, that's the jam, go on.

We do our thang.

Despite, time on the cp tilt, big talks with little movement of the hips.

Despite, our teeth, being worth enough to buy an engine of a jet fleet.

Despite, the big girls who shop in section petit.

Despite the glory given to section 8.

Hate the kinks so they press it prissy straight.

Despite those claiming hood, but don't know the hood.

Want to fix the hood, but don't know the hood.

Scared of the hood, but don't know the hood.

Despite late night fights, out of town hikes,

Get it like Spitzer, caught on cheaters by your still supportive wife

Despite gone daddy, drunk papi, aunt sally who's a clepto you know.

Despite my missing bank roll, I got from the dro,

sell to the rich and steal from the po,

to get my fix

Cause no matter what you friend tells you,

you can't get high on your own supply

Despite all the champagne in the sex room,

the young swoon having boom boom to soon.

Catching the doom,

the H.I.V. soon to be I.H.A.

I have aids no Medicaid parade to pay for Magic's prescriptions.

Despite the repetitious patterns of

single actors in the role of parent,

the lament of rights civilly gained treated with such disdain

and the tears of ancestors, that nutured the land,

the fruit being left to rot

Despite lo shouts of hi treason, the hypocrisy of the season,

the two face smiles that stab knives in backs gushing

one hundred thousand gallons of the Nile's holy spirit.

Despite prejudice, judas false judgement, cause we are not,

he, she, we, the one, the all, the alpha,

thee omega, the universe, the common spirit, Ja, God,

Haille Selasai, Jesus, Buddah, the honorable Elijah Muhammed,

the angels, seraphim, cherubim, deities,

everything and therefore nothing.

My stone drops from my hands

to be cast only upon the ground.

Despite all that ain't right with us,

I love you my people.

Hip Hop Junkie (Lyrics)

Hip Hop Junkie

The Worst since the first Genocide on Earth

The curse of the verse makes you go bizurk

Makes you miss work, Freestyle till it hurts

Every time you breathe in, it's like inhaling dirt

Water won't work, the thirst can't be quenched

Chugged a Gatorade cooler, all my clothes got drenched

And that was it, still needed a fix

Headed to the corner store, to get myself a hit

Popped weed in the deck, push the button it played

Time to sit back, let my mind get blazed

Sniffed up a couple lines of that pure Big Daddy Kane

Next some Black Thought injected in my veins

Rolled up and puffed that Kanye West

Took a couple of pills of that mighty Mos Def

Hip hop got me twisted again I'm seeing double vision,

Losing all of my ends, I need an intervention.

I O.D-ed on some Ol' D B just last week

Member of the Wu-Tang may your rest in peace

And freestyle over DJ cuts by Jam Master Jay

Get with Tupac and Biggie and walk this way

I'm walking down memory lane, must refrain

From bustin' out the running man, cause you know it was the dance

Along with high top fades, while you did the kid n' play

In baggy overalls from the cross colors display

In my DNA, infection is deep

My wife says I freestyle in my sleep

I find it hard not to rhyme when I speak

I sound Jessie Jackson given a speech

Outreach is needed, so get your hands in the air

And wave them around like you just don't, No!

I mean I need help, I can't stop myself

This bottled hip hoppa, man its top shelf

Time > $

You don't want the cash. You want the model chick.

You don't want the cheddar. You want the cow.

You don't want the doe. You want the bread,

a nice place to lay your dome, to protect your head from the harsh elements.

You want the feds in your back pockets instead of your wallet.

No matter how the judge slams it, or the ref calls it, you stay above the rim of laws.

The money you don't need, it's the milk and honey,

to silence the roar of monsters in your tummy

to provide yummies for the taste buds,

cause they always want a little taste of what's on your plate.

Despite what you ate in pre K and K, paper has no nutritional value.

This is a check to our values, cause no cash value is worth the avenue were on where popcorn shots strike hearts severely depart tomorrow's promise, today's innocent, and yesterday's bliss.

You don't want to sign checks, or checks delivered. You want respect.

Bones to quiver chills that shiver, spines when eyes gaze upon you.

That's power from your view.

You don't want dividends, exec benefits, and bonuses.

You want to go nuts, sip champagne through donuts

Watch a few butts as they strut on the nude beaches in Brazil.

See if they're fine for real. Feel thrills of hang glide winds, helmet strapped chin, boogie boardin', blow snortin' camera posin', with select chosen women.

So you can be like "Yeah, I boned them." Your boys will be like "You know you frontin'" and you're like "believe what you want then." And they're like "You serious?"

You want more than crazy, Eddie Murphy delirious times

You want federal pen security in your moments, you want Dalai Lama peace of mind

You want gang unity, without the fear, paranoia, lying, and crime.

You want eat-off-the-concrete-clean neighborhoods.

You want the James Brown "I Feel Good."

You want the "I look good for no damn reason."

And the "to look this good, must be treason."

You want the seasoning of life, the spices of seasons.

The "If I ruled the world" without the IF.

The I been around the world and I,I,I,.." got gifts and souvenirs.

You don't want the donations, you want "Let me be clear."

Here is the purpose, if you can dodge a wrench, no that's not it.

You can save a dime and spend a nickel, but you can't save time so spend a little, hour or two thinking about why you do what you do.

Money is a tool to build used by geniuses and fools with free will.

Lord willing, we get our ones, hundreds, thousands, millions, and billions.

I ask we pray and remember what we are building.

Keep it Moving (lyrics)

Keep it Moving (lyrics)
verse 1
Let go of preconceptions, now I’m accepting what is
Now I’m ready to live; now I’m ready to give
Now I’m ready to work, to invest all of my worth
‘Til I return to the dirt, and nourish the mother earth
I’ll roll with the father time, until I have to get off
The ride did not cost a dime, but I am still paying the cost
But nothing was lost, still left with what I came
Managed to gain some things, a world fueled by change
Some say it were dreams, some say it were schemes
I say it was love, which moved us like steam
Engines start’em up, make your way to the front
You gonna when the cup, you gotta know what cha want
You gotta know what it takes; you gotta know what are the stakes
Then you must set the pace, steady will when the race
You can go fast or slow, but if you don’t have a flow
You might as well not go, sit back and enjoy the show, oh oh oh

verse 2
Every season has a reason, while I’m breathing, I’ll be pleading
For the truth with no deceiving, while I’m reaching for the ceiling
Like I was accused of stealing, I’m just trying to catch a feeling
Steal the moment for the dealing, to all those who are willing
To vibe with the scribe, dance on the line
Walking is fine, if you can’t move with the time
But you better learn quick, synchronize your movements
Cause it has gotten thick, what!? The dawn of the mist.
Thru tribulations, unjust nations, it’s amazing how far we’ve come
We did not succumb, no longer victims
We beat our rhythms, we speak with our on tongues
But we’ve just begun, to see victory won
The trials long and the road is paved
With obstructions, that will cause to lose our way
And that’s OK as long as we keep on moving
Keep on striving, keep on living, keep on flowing, keep on doing

Silence Thoughts

silence thoughts

Realize the importance of meditation.
As nations race towards mind to mind communication.
With this welcomed invasion to self conversation, one must silence thoughts.
The knots of lies are easily unraveled when everyone lives behind the veil of your eyes.
So why hide when the seeking is played out by no doubt to where, what, why, and who you are.
